🎤 I’ve coached TEDx speakers and execs and here’s the ONE thing that sets the best apart: They treat the stage like a shared space. Biggest mistake? Talking at the audience instead of with them. Want people engaged? Try this: 1️⃣ Ask real questions, not rhetorical ones. Try “By a show of hands…” or “How many of you have felt this?” 2️⃣ Use “you.” Don’t say “people struggle.” Say “YOU might’ve struggled.” 3️⃣ React in real-time. If they laugh, pause.
