People wonder why I use tongs to move Winny. I'm allergic to shellfish. Winny's legs are very sharp and when she scratches my skin, I get really bad hives. So while I can pick her up (she doesn't mind) her little legs flail and feel for something to grip which sometimes scratches my hands. I also don't want accidentally drop her when she doesn't have a harness on. So tongs are the safest and quickest way pick her up. She doesn't mind!
