When I’m drawing white fur, I like to put a soft layer of white down first before adding any colour. I usually use the White Museum Aquarelle pencil for this- either dry, or gently blended with a slightly damp cotton bud. It creates a really smooth base that coloured pencils sit nicely on top of. You can use just the white of the paper, but I personally prefer this method because the layers build much more softly and evenly. Some of the colours I like to use are.. light green, soft pinks, creamy
