As The Late Show prepares to say its final farewell next week, its former host and originator, David Letterman, appeared on Thursday’s (May 14) episode to help Stephen Colbert get some revenge on CBS.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has revealed some of the guests that will visit during the show’s final week on the air.

Letterman got his “revenge” on CBS by bringing Late Show furniture to the top of New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theater and tossing it off the roof with Colbert.
