Ukraine damages key refinery units at one of Russia’s largest fuel plants
According to updated information released on May 16, the refinery sustained damage to the AVT-3, AVT-4 and AT-6 processing units, as well as a diesel fuel hydrotreating unit. The Ryazan refinery is one of Russia’s largest oil refining facilities and helps supply fuel to Russian occupation forces.
The Commercial Court of Kyiv has ordered the Russian Federation to pay UAH 26.24 million (US$590,000) in lost profits to Katwind Energy LLC, an Odesa-based company.
