An ICE agent is facing assault charges in connection with a January shooting involving two Venezuelan immigrants in Minnesota, Hennepin County prosecutors said.

A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent was charged with assault by Minnesota authorities for allegedly shooting a Venezuelan man and then lying about the confrontation.
