Jesús Rodríguez hit an RBI single in the 12th inning and the San Francisco Giants rallied from a pair of two-run deficits to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-6.
Giants left fielder Heliot Ramos left the game after the fifth inning with what was described as tightness in his right quadriceps. Casey Schmitt, making his first appearance in the outfield in college, the minor leagues, and MLB, replaced Ramos in left field.
