Hundreds of dogs are up for adoption this weekend in the Tampa Bay Area as part of the annual Mega Dog Adoption Event in Plant City.

This week's featured adoptable pets from the Kent County Animal Shelter are two dogs: one who likes to lounge and one who's playful.

Heart and Soul Dog Rescue is also searching for a foster for Cocoa, a puppy who was found wandering the streets of Clifton with a chain around her neck.

Mesa County Animal Services is located at 971A Coffman Road in Whitewater, next to the Mace County landfill. Information about Cosmo and other adoptable animals is available here.
