Microsoft has confirmed Windows 11 version 26H1 devices cannot move to 26H2 in 2026, forcing Snapdragon X2 PCs onto a separate update branch until 2027.

Microsoft's Windows 11 26H1 update isn't coming to your current PC
You'll need an Arm-based PC with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 chip or Nvidia's rumored N1 chip.
Microsoft has confirmed that only devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Series processors will receive 26H1. Existing PCs running Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2 will not be eligible for this release.
