Mainly cloudy skies are still across the metro area Wednesday afternoon as scattered showers linger with cooler highs in the upper 50s.
A winter storm warning will be in effect for parts of Boulder, Grand, Jackson and Larimer counties in northern Colorado until 9 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures will remain well below normal again today, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Chance for more scattered storms and showers this afternoon.
Three to 10 inches of snow is expected in the mountains, and it will be heaviest south of Interstate 70, stretching into Friday, according to the weather service.
